It’s been a while since I last wrote on here and what a busy few months it has been! I have taken on some exciting new clients and I am continuing to watch my existing clients grow. But what is my motivation?

I get asked countless times, why do I work such long hours? The answer… because I have worked so hard to get here and I love every, single, minute!

Here’s my top three motivators:

1. To be the best I can be

I spend a lot of time learning. I never went to university, I went straight from my A-Levels to work in London at a PR & Marketing Agency. I spent a lot of time doing tea rounds but equally learnt what working life was. As my career progressed (when I returned to Devon) from in-house brands to external agencies, I picked up some of my best learnings along the way. I was also lucky enough to go on lots of training courses including Google, CIM and Econsultancy. Fast forward the clock to now and what an amazing 18 months it has been. I spend my evenings working, researching new technologies, new trends, new systems, new training courses, all in order to make sure I am ahead of the curve. It is so important to me that my clients are confident in trusting my knowledge and experience.

2. To help my clients succeed

I do what I do to get results. Whether that be higher website traffic, increased social followers, expanding an email database or increasing revenue. Every brand is different, every audience is different and learning what works is the hardest part. When you have the learnings, the marketing behind the brand becomes exciting. You can reach people at the right time, in the right place and increase conversion dramatically. Analysing data is a huge, without analysis you have no proof that a campaign has worked. From email titles to images there are a lot of factors that can influence campaign results. For the majority of my clients I create a monthly report, so that we can quantify the work that is being carried out and look at ROI in detail.

3. To have a career I love

I started KW Marketing so that I could love what I do every single day! I’ve worked so hard to get where I am in the past 18 months, and I am so excited to see what the future holds. The feeling I get from working with some of the most amazing clients, in industries which I have never worked in before, is 100% worth it! I have met some extremely influential people, people who support me every step of the way, people who share their knowledge and skills with me and for that I am so grateful. I am constantly looking forward to new projects, new challenges and meeting new clients.
