Contract: Full-time (minimum 30 hours a week)
Location: Working from home/Exeter office/London office
Want to lead email marketing for ambitious brands and see the commercial impact of your work?
We’re looking for an account manager to help maintain our high standards of client strategy and support as we continue our exciting era of growth. This role has a clear focus on leading our client email marketing accounts end-to-end, supporting forward-thinking eCommerce brands who see email as a primary revenue and retention channel.
You’ll be key to managing, developing, and retaining existing clients, helping them grow profitably through smart strategy, clear execution, data-led decisions, and thinking ahead – with email strategy, delivery and optimisation at the heart of what you do.
A typical day might include:
- Acting as the email specialist across client accounts, owning strategy, delivery, optimisation, and performance.
- Brief the director on proposals to be completed and flagging email strategy decisions where founder input is required
- Planning, building, and optimising email campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo (primary) and Mailchimp
- Creating email campaign calendars aligned to product launches, seasonal moments, and revenue targets
- Devise, develop and deliver creative marketing strategies, campaigns and briefs alongside our handpicked team of experts
- Reviewing email performance (revenue, open rates, CTR, deliverability, segmentation) and proactively recommending improvements
- Update Monday.com to keep key activities and collaborative action plans on track
- Meet clients to lead email-focused reporting conversations, sharing insight and recommendations (a full driver’s license would be really handy)
- Identifying growth opportunities within email accounts (flows, segmentation, list growth, testing and optimisation)
- Look at opportunities for growth within the wider client accounts
- Go above and beyond by establishing a trusted relationship with clients to ensure they get the results and success they expect
- Create case studies for company marketing by extracting account data with a strong focus on email-driven revenue and retention
- Attend a super-fun networking event!
This role might be for you if:
- You’re passionate about digital marketing with a strong interest or specialism in email marketing
- You have at least three years of experience in a marketing or communications role, driving campaigns and projects through to successful completion
- You’re confident working day-to-day in Klaviyo (campaigns, flows, segmentation and reporting) and Mailchimp
- You like helping people. Maintaining good relationships with clients, external partners and team members is a must
- You’ll be passionate about building trust, ensuring a high quality of service, and growing client income
- You enjoy being a trusted point of contact who keeps email delivery moving without everything needing to go back to the founder
- You communicate clearly. You write well. You speak eloquently
- You’re comfortable leading client conversations specifically around email performance and strategy
- You enjoy solving problems. You’ll calmly overcome challenges and adapt plans to meet changing project or client needs
- You’re motivated and driven with strong business acumen skills
- You naturally think in terms of revenue, retention, and customer lifetime value – not just email sends
- You’re creative. You’ll be happy to collaborate with the team to come up with ideas for campaigns and projects
- You’ll geek out on harnessing data from Klaviyo, Shopify, and Excel spreadsheets
- Organisational platforms and digital software such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Shopify, Monday.com, Facebook Business Manager, and Google Ads Manager are totally your bag
