Key Account Manager – The role:

Salary: £25,000-£35,000 with commission of £20,000
Contract: Full time, permanent
Location: Working from home/Exeter office/London office

Are you an experienced, highly motivated and creative digital marketing whizz who wants to join a vibrant consultancy that’s going places?

Acting as Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for helping KW Marketing maintain high standards of client strategy and support, with a focus on client acquisition, growth, and retention. You will also be responsible for supporting where necessary our client services teams to deliver best-in-class digital marketing results for our expanding client base.

Main Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales (60%)

  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities through a multi-channel approach and in person networking and attendance of industry events.
  • Seek out opportunities to grow existing client spend by upselling and cross-selling relevant new products and services.
  • Devise, create and present proposals to potential and existing clients for part or all of the company’s suite of products and services.

Account Management & Delivery (30%)

  • Assist when required with the onboarding of new clients, managing their expectations from initial scoping to ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Support client services teams to devise, develop and deliver creative marketing strategies, campaigns and briefs.
  • Where necessary, plan, research and create compelling digital content across multiple platforms.
  • Update and meet clients to report on campaign progress and provide suggestions to improve performance.
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
  • Maintain client satisfaction by continually tracking data and account performance as measured through client retention.

Marketing (10%)

  • Create assets for KW Marketing’s marketing.
  • Create case studies for company marketing by extracting account data as well as referrals, testimonials and social proof from clients.

Strategy, Ethos, and Values:

  • Champion quality and excellence, seeking out and sharing constructive feedback to support the continued development of KW Marketing.
  • Model the values and ethos of KW Marketing and ensure they are upheld at all times.

Continuous Professional Development:

  • Proactively seek out opportunities for professional development including undertaking any training as required by KW Marketing.

General:

  • Attend and contribute to meetings, proactively contributing ideas and suggestions in advance, and preparing reports as required.
  • Any other work as directed by Kate Williams, appropriate to the role.

Commission Scheme:

  • An annual commission scheme will be offered based on a target of new and retention sales generated by the successful candidate post successful completion of their probation period.
