Hope and Homes for Children is an international charity organisation that works to provide a home and family environment for children in orphanages, in countries where institutional care is the norm. The organisation was founded in 1994 and operates in 9 countries around the world.

Hope and Homes for Children’s mission is to end the institutionalization of children and to support and strengthen families, so that they can provide a loving and stable home for their children. The organisation works with governments, local partners, and communities to provide services such as family support, foster care, and adoption, with the goal of helping children grow up in a loving and supportive family environment.

In addition to its direct service work, Hope and Homes for Children also works to advocate for the rights of children and to raise awareness about the negative impact of institutional care on children’s development and well-being. Through its efforts, the organisation has helped to improve the lives of thousands of children and families around the world.

The challenge

Hope and Homes for Children found themselves in the position of needing assistance with their social media strategy and taking it to the next level. Social media content creation agency, KW Marketing, worked with the organisation to develop a comprehensive social media strategy that would help it to effectively reach and engage with its audience via content creation. The team conducted a thorough analysis of the organisation’s social media presence and identified areas for improvement.

From global reform to strategic campaigns, we were on hand to help with paving a pathway forward in the social media space for the organisation.

The stories that Hope and Homes have uncovered through their work have been heartbreaking at times and uplifting at others. During our work with them, we have launched some amazing partnerships as well as their incredible Global Roadmap that sets the pathway forward in catalyzing childcare reform worldwide..

The solution

KW Marketing began to develop a comprehensive content strategy that would engage and inform its audience. The organisation’s social media posts included a mix of updates on the work it was doing around the world, personal stories from the children and families it was helping, and calls to action for supporters to get involved.

One key aspect of Hope and Homes for Children’s social media strategy was its use of visually striking imagery and videos. The organisation’s posts often featured photos and videos of the children and families it was helping, which helped to create a strong emotional connection with its audience.

We also developed a content strategy that included a mix of updates on the organisation’s work, personal stories from the children and families it was helping, and calls to action for supporters to get involved. We utilized emotionally powerful imagery and videos to create a strong connection with our audience, and used relevant hashtags to increase the visibility of our content.

The impact

One of the most successful aspects of Hope and Homes for Children’s social media strategy has been its use of social media to drive online donations. The organisation has used its social media accounts to promote its online donation page, which has helped to increase the amount of funding it receives from supporters.

Overall, KW Marketing’s social media content creation strategy for Hope and Homes for Children was highly successful in helping the organisation to effectively use social media to achieve its marketing and communication goals. The organisation was able to significantly increase its visibility and engagement, and make a positive impact in the lives of disadvantaged children around the world.

After 3 months of working with KW Marketing, Hope and Homes for Children saw elevated brand awareness and website visibility:

  • Reach: 65,610 (increased by 414%)

“Working with KW Marketing is like working with an extension of your own team. It’s so nice to have a team so responsive and positive who makes it easy to work with them!”
