Welcome Scarlett

As KW Marketing keeps on growing, we are over the moon to announce that after completing an extremely successful internship, Scarlett Moran has joined our team as Account Executive. Since graduating from Leeds Beckett University with a masters in marketing and digital strategy, Scarlett thrives on helping clients reach their digital marketing goals through strategic action and insightful data.

Though residing on the other side of the country from our office, Scarlett has championed remote working and is taking it to the next level, by spending the summer in France! We’re so jealous but so proud of her! We wanted to sit down with Scarlett to get to know her even more. Ready? Let’s dive in!

What’s your role at KW Marketing?

Having finished my internship, I was delighted to have been offered a permanent role at KW Marketing as an Account Executive. In my role, I am focused on strategy & data! It’s completely my bag to be able to tell a story through data-led decisions and give deep insights into the work that the team does.

What’s your favourite part of working at KW Marketing?

Since working at KW Marketing I have absolutely loved working on new and exciting projects for some great brands. I love the deep collaboration that happens within our team and with other digital professionals in the industry, and that we dedicate lots of time to learning and growing, both individually and as a business.

What was your background before joining KW Marketing?

I (unknowingly) started my business career journey at the early age of 17 during my college years, and then headed to London to get myself a degree in International Business! Studying for my degree really helped me with my confidence and expanded my outlook on life, as I got to study abroad in the Netherlands. After this, I wasn’t quite ready to finish learning, so headed up north for a year in Leeds, where I got my Master’s in Marketing and Digital Strategy. I was then given the opportunity for a great internship and a chance to get some digital marketing work experience under my belt, which led me here today!

What is the number one marketing tool you can’t live without?

I would have to say Monday.com because it really helps me to organise my day-to-day workload and prioritise different tasks with dates, timelines, and priorities. Writing a to-do list on paper is always so great but in actuality, it always ends up getting lost or forgotten with me! So, thanks Monday.com!

Describe yourself in three words.

Positive. Loyal. Genuine.

What do you like to do outside work?

I absolutely LOVE time with my family, exercise, travel, food, and music! As mentioned, I’m heading to France soon to work remotely over the summer so I’m super excited to explore the culture, scenery and of course, the food!

What is one brand you always look to for inspiration?

I absolutely adore the brand Beauty Pie – I big them up any chance I get! They are a subscription-based beauty and personal care brand that really do things differently but ALWAYS with their customers in mind. They’re so cool – you need to check them out!

And finally, if you were stranded on a desert island, what would be your three need-to-haves?

  1. A toothbrush (with toothpaste) – it’s so basic but I always feel like a clean mouth is essential!
  2. An instrument – to learn whilst I’m there! I can’t play anything right now so this would be a great chance to learn. I’m not sure what yet though!
  3. A friend – I think I would need this if I had any chance of survival! I’m a proper social bunny so would end up driving myself mad!
