After a busy summer filled with client campaigns and increased growth, we are thrilled to announce that Hannah Coombe has joined our team as Account Executive. Having lived in London for the past few years, Hannah has headed back to her hometown to enjoy the quality of life that Devon has to offer.

We sat down with Hannah to hear more about her!

What’s your role at KW Marketing?

As Account Executive, I spend my time supporting our Account Manager Mela with our client accounts. This can include anything from developing creative marketing strategies and campaigns to creating case studies from account data and client testimonials. The role has such a variety of responsibilities and our clients are right at the centre of it, making every day different and super-rewarding.

What’s your favourite part of working at KW Marketing?

No two days are the same! Working on such a wide variety of projects from affiliate marketing to email campaigns makes every day in the office exciting.

What was your background before joining KW Marketing?

I trained to be a professional dancer at Bird College for four years before the pandemic, which is worlds away from marketing! After COVID, I decided I wanted to pursue a different career in something which I’d always had a keen interest in, which led me to spending a year in London working in e-Commerce. I’m super-excited to have moved back to Devon and to have joined the KW Marketing team. I can’t wait to get stuck in!

What is the number one marketing tool you can’t live without?

As someone who loves to be organised, it has to be Monday.com! It’s so beneficial when working with multiple brands with the ability to create boards and assign workloads to the team. Plus, if you’re a visual person like me, it conveniently creates a to-do list for you, showing it by day, week and even the following week.

Describe yourself in three words.

Driven, positive, open-minded!

What do you like to do outside work?

I absolutely love spending time at the beach all year round and we’re all very lucky in the south-west to live near some great coasts in North Devon and Cornwall. You’ll usually find me trying to catch a wave on my surfboard or just sitting and chilling with a book and coffee in hand.

What is one brand you always look to for inspiration?

One brand I have been following for ages is the vegan, cruelty-free razor brand Estrid. I think their super-inclusive approach really sets them apart from their competitors, which makes them a relatable and honest brand. They have a smashing way of promoting through a huge range of influencer partnerships meaning there’s hardly a day where you won’t see their razors and products on your screen.

And finally, if you were stranded on a desert island, what would be your three need-to-haves?

  1. My dog – I adore my dog and couldn’t be without her so it would only be right if she was my little companion on a desert island.
  2. My Harry Potter book collection – I am a huge Harry Potter fan and love to start re-reading the books straight after finishing the last one. It’s truly a book series I’ll never get tired of.
  3. My surfboard – Like I said I love the beach, so hopefully I would be stranded somewhere that has good surf!
